my point of view for Hope Springs by Valerie M. Bodden

December 12, 2019 in my point of view

I am excited to bring this new to me author to Fiction Full of Faith today! PLUS you can enter to win this ebook set of ALL 3 stories, see details below!

See why readers are falling in love with the heartwarming Hope Springs Christian romance series! Three fast-paced, emotional romances in one collection.

Not Until Forever: Sophie knows she did the right thing when she declined Spencer’s proposal five years ago. So why does seeing him again stir up old feelings? Spencer promised himself he wouldn’t fall for Sophie again. But there’s something different about her now. Something that makes him think maybe God is giving them a second chance…

Not Until This Moment: Peyton thought Jared was “the one”—until he told her he never intended to get married. Jared wishes he could give Peyton everything she desires. But marriage is the one thing he can never offer her. When they’re thrown together again on an annual ski trip, both have to reexamine what they want. Because it’s just possible God has other plans for them…

Not Until You: Three years after her husband’s death, Violet is sure her chance at happily ever after is over. Until Nate moves in next door and stirs feelings she thought had died with her husband. But when Nate reveals a devastating secret, they have to decide: should they walk away, or trust that the God of second chances has a plan for their future?

If you love deeply moving stories filled with faith, forgiveness, love, and the promise of forever, then this set of Christian romances will touch your heart and leave you breathless with the power of true love.

    my point of view:

Wow, I am so excited to bring you all another ‘new to me author’! I am so blessed to have been recommended to this lovely author, and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading the box set! Second chance at romance stories are always a favorite of mine (not sure what that says about me, lol) and the three of these novels are all of that and more!

The setting is in a place I have always wanted to visit – snowy Wisconsin! The background of the lake and the cherry trees and the beautiful lifestyle would have been enough for me to dive into these books, but then add in the terrific friendships of these characters, and well….I cannot wait for more!

Each story can certainly stand on it’s own, but together they make it even better. The characters are so realistic I want to move to Hope Springs and hang out with them, go to church with them, and have burger’s at Dan’s cookouts! Of course, I will bring the pasta salad, lol!

In the first book, Sophie has to come to terms with past hurts and self worth issues that the death of sibling caused when she was just a child. Seeing how she and her family work through this grief after so long was nothing short of beautiful. I especially loved the connection Sophie had with her grandmother, as I too was a grandma’s girl!

In the second story, Peyton is loving y dream job – baking for everyone! Who doesn’t love to bake? I would probably have a hard time being a part of all those wedding celebrations too, though, if my one true love and I were separated….

Which takes us into the third book…sigh…this one was a tearjerker for sure. Violet is the best friend of Sophie and has gone through too much loss and heartache for being so young…she is sure she is meant to live alone and dedicate her life to her husband’s memory…but is that what God really has in store for her?

I just loved how all these stories came together and I am excited to continue reading the journey’s of these amazing friends!

    About Valerie M. Bodden:

Valerie M. Bodden has three great loves: Jesus, her family, and books. And chocolate (okay, four great loves). She writes emotion-filled Christian fiction that weaves real-life problems, real-life people, and real-life faith. Her characters may (okay, will) experience some heartache along the way, but true to her tendencies as a hopeless romantic, she will always give them a happy ending. Valerie is living out her happily ever after with her high-school-sweetheart-turned-husband and their four children in snowy Wisconsin. Visit her at www.valeriembodden.com to get your free short story today.

Valerie has so generously offered one of our readers a ebook version of this 3 story set! Tell us why you love second chance romance stories to enter! This contest will be open for a week after publication and winner will be notified via email!

I love second chance romances, because God has given me lots of chances! Also, I love when an author can bring the truths of God’s word home to me in a fresh, new way. I haven’t read these three; however, I did read her newest book, and LOVED it!!! I would LOVE to have these!!

This box set sounds like a great read! I’m a huge fan of second chance romances, too. I think part of the reason I like them so much is because we all make mistakes and getting a second chance gives you the opportunity to get it right. Again.

When you think about all the chances God gives us everyday…. I know He is constantly giving me second chances, and thirds, and fourths. If God can give me chance after chance, then I think it’s only fair for us to return the favor. That’s the reason that I like reading second chance romances so much.

I love second chance romances because of the issues that the couple has to work through. The characters usually are well-developed through it.
