FREE ebook and Review of Healing Her Heart by Laura Scott!!

September 2, 2018 in my point of view

Hi everyone! I know it isn’t Thursday, but I am bringing you this special review today since it is a holiday weekend, figured we could ALL do with another FREE ebook, right?CLICK HERE to get your copy!

    Reprinted with author’s permission:

Dr. Gabe Allen has a rule about dating colleagues but when he meets ER nurse Larissa Brockman he’s tempted to break his vow. Larissa’s faith draws him back to the church he’d left behind, but when their lives are on the line Gabe discovers that Larissa is the one who needs to learn about the true meaning of forgiveness. And only Gabe can help heal her heart.

    my point of view:

I was talking with Alexa Verde a while back and mentioned I really needed to find some “new to me” authors to read, since I am running out of books to read……lol, okay, so maybe I do have a huge TBR pile, but still….anyway, she recommended Laura Scott. I am so glad she did! I am rather shocked I had not found Ms. Scott sooner, but I am certainly happy to have a new assortment of books to read now!

Healing Her Heart is the first book in the Crystal Lake series and introduces us to a love lake town in Wisconsin, and the hospital in the center of it all. Larissa and Gabe are both great characters, and even though the tile stated ‘her’ heart needs healing, I believe Gabe needs some healing as well. The story takes a suspenseful turn almost from the beginning and gets your own heart pumping! I admit I had a hard time putting this down as I needed to see just how it would all turn out!

I thoroughly enjoyed the journey Ms. Scott takes the readers on in this book, from learning that forgiveness is not always about ourselves or the people that have hurt us, but more about God’s gift of Grace to each of us. How can we withhold that from others? I highly recommend you all snap up this FREE ebook!

While you are at it – make sure you also pre-order her new release – coming out on September 4th! I have already, and cannot wait to read it!! There is a SPECIAL bonus too – Offer ends Sept 3rd! To Love (The McNally Series Book 1)

A new family series by award winning author, Laura Scott!

Eager for a fresh start, Jazz McNally throws herself into renovating her grandparents’ mansion in time for the grand opening of the McNally Bed and Breakfast. When vandals strike, she accepts help from drifter Dalton O’Brien. Dalton is willing to lend a hand, until it’s time to move on. But when danger escalates, Dalton soon realizes that protecting Jazz is a threat—to his heart.

    About the author:

My name is Laura Scott and I enjoy writing Christian Romances. I have several books that I’ve written for the Love Inspired Suspense line and recently I’ve written several contemporary novels in my Crystal Lake Series. I especially love writing books with pets in them. I grew up reading Grace Livingston Hill books and have always wanted to write. I’m also a nurse working at a level one trauma center in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I hope you enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them.
