January 4, 2021 in my point of view

Show Me a Single Dad Cowboy

A small-town single-dad cowboy and a matchmaker out to prove herself in the big city… Can they have a chance at love?

After Maggie Harris is fired from her job at a prestigious matchmaking agency in New York, she returns to her hometown, Cowboy Crossing, Missouri, to regroup. Falling for a local cowboy, Georgio Moore, isn’t part of the plan, despite the attraction sparking between them. But abandoned by her mother as a child, Maggie instantly connects with Georgio’s daughter and offers to find him a wife who’ll be a good mother for his child.

Since his ex-wife left him and their daughter to chase the city lights, Georgio hasn’t been in the market for romance. However, he’d do anything for his daughter, even agree to Maggie’s ridiculous idea. If only she’d see that the only woman he wants to be matched with is her.

Once Maggie has the opportunity to rebuild her career in New York, will she let love lead her—or her bruised ego?

A prequel to the Cowboy Crossing Romance series.

    my point of view:

Honestly, you can never go wrong with a book by Alexa Verde – and this one is absolutely free to everyone from Amazon! It cannot get much better than that right?

Maggie and Georgio are fantastic characters, I could relate to each of them in different ways. What woman doesn’t want to prove to herself and others that she is fully capable, right? Being let go from a career you love must have been heartbreaking, but seeing a little girl desperate for a mother, how can that not tug at your heart? Maggie has personal experience in being without a mother, so she is sure her professional expertise can solve both her career and Bianca’s situations at the same time.

Georgio, however, has other idea’s….while he loves his daughter with all his heart, does he really need to marry someone just to give her a mother? They were just fine on their own, father and daughter….weren’t they?

Well, I am sure you can figure out why I adored this story so much! Just click on the cover above to get your free copy, oh and don’t forget to read to the bottom to see how you can win a $5.00 Amazon gift card!

Alexa Verde writes feel-good small-town romances with a smile. She’d love it if you subscribed to her newsletter http://www.alexaverde.com/contact.html#newsletter (every subscriber gets a free Christian romance after confirming the subscription as a thank-you gift). She penned her first literary masterpiece, a rhymed poem, at the ripe age of eight, and since has had twenty books and 200 short stories, articles, and poems published in the five languages that she speaks. She has bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish, a master’s in Russian, and enjoys writing about characters with diverse cultures. She’s worn the hats of reporter, teacher, translator, model (even one day counts!), caretaker, and secretary, but thinks that the writer’s hat suits her the best. After traveling the world and living in both hemispheres, she calls a small town in south Texas home. The latter is an inspiration for the fictional setting of her popular series Rios Azules Christmas and Secrets of Rios Azules. She hopes and prays that her stories will bring joy to her readers. I’d also like to spend time with family later this summer, Lord willing, after we get our vaccine; see more people at church this spring and summer, hopefully (all while social distancing, wearing masks, of course). . . And I would love to win a print copy of this book (and gift card)! Thanks for the opportunity!
