Christmas at Cranberry Cove by June Foster

November 26, 2021 in my point of view

Ryder Langston retires from commercial fishing and manages Blake Sloan’s supply stores. When the owner of the inn in Cranberry Cove hires a new executive chef, Ryder is intrigued by the tall woman with ebony hair who hides a dark family secret.

Juliette Duplay must flee from her French roots and her past when a family member turns against her. She’d like to blend into the American culture but can’t escape danger even in the small community of Cranberry Cove.

Can Ryder and Juliette unravel the mystery in time to celebrate Christmas at Cranberry Cove?

    my point of view:

I am so happy to introduce this book to any of you who have not had the pleasure of reading it yet! I love a good Christmas romance, and a suspenseful one is like getting a bonus….add in cooking and even a recipe at the end is like icing on the cake!

I have had a previous foray in Cranberry Cove, and couldn’t wait to go back there again! The author does such an amazing job of making you feel as if you are actually walking through the lovely town.

Bonus points, as we get to read about France as well…I do not want to give up too much of the mystery, as it would ruin it for all of you, but let me just say, as I am getting this post ready I can smell the roast I am making from the recipe in the book! Mmmm….

This sounds good!! And, it especially sounds good as it seems like maybe the characters are a little older than usual??

Trudy, I love writing characters that are in mid-life. My favorite is A Harvest of Blessings. https://amzn.to/3nVCeYj
In Christmas at Cranberry Cove most of the characters are in their 30’s. Blessings, June
