my point of view of Saving Grace by Amy Anquish

November 9, 2020 in my point of view

Michelle Wilson’s one goal in life was to become a top journalist at the local paper back in her hometown of Cedar Springs, AR. But on the way to bringing that dream to reality, a life-changing wreck interrupts Michelle’s plans and adds an orphaned baby into the mix. Now, she has tough decisions ahead—did God put her in that accident to save baby Grace? And if so, why is it so hard to convince everyone else she should be the baby’s new mommy?

Greg Marshall has been Michelle’s best friend his whole life. He’s thrilled she’s moving back home, but not so sure about her sudden desire to be a single mom. His feelings for her have grown through the years, but she’s never seemed to notice. Can he help Michelle with the adoption and grow their relationship at the same time?

    my point of view:

Amy has always touched my heart with her wonderful stories, and this one is no exception! Michelle and Greg are an adorable couple tryying to find their way in this world when a tragedy strickes and Michelle is determined she knows the path God want her on. It is not until they learn to “be still” and really see God’s  plan before they can truly receive God’s best in their lives.

There were do many times I thought, oh I know where this is headed, only to be shocked at the turn of events – which is a great sign of a wonderful author!

I enjoyed every moment of this beautiful book and highly recommend it to all!

    About Amy R Anguish

Amy R Anguish grew up a preacher’s kid, and in spite of having lived in seven different states that are all south of the Mason Dixon line, she is not a football fan. Currently, she resides in Tennessee with her husband, daughter, and son, and usually a bossy cat or two. Amy has an English degree from Freed-Hardeman University that she intends to use to glorify God, and she wants her stories to show that while Christians face real struggles, it can still work out for good.

This sounds like a must read to me Paula! Thank you for sharing and to Amy for writing. It looks like a beautiful love story but with very unusual twists and turns along the way.

I’m sure I will Amy. I love books that have an unusual twist (in this case the baby) to be able to wind the story through and around making it interesting. And to have messages that we can use to examine our own hearts within the storyline to ultimately strengthen our walk with Christ is by far the best take away possible! From reading the description and Paula’s review I expect that underlying content to be in this story. I am excited to read it and see if my thoughts are right! I just love to see the author’s heart shine through their books!
