Thank you very much for your kind words!
Paula, thank you so much for the wonderful feature!
I love Christmas stories, because they remind me of the times when by Mother and my siblings were still alive and we all got together!
Linda, my sincere condolences. So sorry for your losses.
I love talking to ours boys about the true meaning of Christmas. Growing up we always read Luke 1 Christmas morning before we started opening any presents. We have continued that with our boys. I also always make biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast 😋
Kelly, that’s the best way to celebrate Christmas and very admirable! And thank you very much for commenting.
I prefer armchair travel for Christmas instead of the hassles of travel and silly family dramas that can creep into holiday celebrations.
These days, I prefer armchair travel, too. Thank you very much for stopping by!
I haven’t read any of these books yet, but I love stories about Christmas and these books look interesting. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Thank you, Esther! If you give my books a try, I hope you’ll enjoy them! Thank you for commenting.
I love the homey feels and all the decorating and family and joy fullness.
Michaela, great answer! Me, too!
I loved the Dangerous Holidays boxed set.
One of the traditions I started with my sons was to make Christmas cookies with them. Now I have grandchildren & I’ve continued the tradition. Last year we made melting snowman cookies together.
After reading Little Women when I was young I loved Christmas stories. I can read them all year round.
Dear Denise, I am happy to hear you loved Dangerous Holidays! Thank you for your kind words. Baking Christmas cookies is a wonderful tradition. Thank you so much for sharing!
My favorite tradition (a fairly recent beginning) for Christmas is: Staying Home!
For years and years we would travel an hour and a half in all kinds of weather on Christmas morning (sometimes the night before) over several mountains. One year, someone died in an icy crash just hours before we had to go over the same mountain.
The sad part is that now my parents are both gone as well as both my sisters so there is no family gathering any more.
Ann, please accept my sincere condolences about your losses. I am sorry to hear it.
I enjoy reading Christian novels focused on Christmas because they help me keep my focus on Jesus, and happy-ending stories in general are helpful in reducing stress in my life.
I so agree about Christmas novels focused on Jesus! And yes, good to get away from the stress in a book with happily-ever-after.
Thank You for continuing to bring great wholesome stories with faith interwoven in each amazing story!
I am honored to do so, and thank you for your kind words!
I love the Christmas story! No one could write/plan out such awesome details of my Savior’s birth, his life, death, AND, Resurrection! I enjoy times w/ my family!
Favorite christmas tradition is the christmas dice game and love christmas stories because of the joy in holidays
Jodi, that sounds like a wonderful tradition, and glad to hear you love Christmas stories!
We started making homemade pizza for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner when our children were small. We had turkey all year long because it was cheap and my family enjoyed it. Because my husband is a pastor, we weren’t able to travel to see family most years. Cooking a big holiday meal just made me homesick. Turns out that our children love that tradition!
Homemade pizza is a lovely tradition! Hugs about not being able to travel to see your family most years.
MY favorite Christmas tradition is putting the tree up together with my husband and kids though we won’t be able to do it together this year. I love reading Christmas stories because they are full of happiness, love and Jesus.
Dora, hugs about not being able to put up the tree this year. And so true about Christmas stories! Thank you for sharing.
I’ve read (not all) Alexa’s books and I’ve loved each story! They are wonderful and inspirational! And Christmas stories are always special because there’s always the spirit of God that heals us and saves us, of love and giving!
There’s a Christmas tradition I love, and it is this. After dinner we all gather together (adults and children in the family, aunts, uncles, nephews, etc) and the smallest kid brings a basket of candy. On top of it lies a beautiful image of Baby Jesus. So the child takes the basket to each family member so they can kiss the Baby Jesus, take a candy, and thank him for something he or she feels grateful to Jesus (something that happened in the year, for family, health, whatever). After finishing with everyone, we all unwrap our candy, and in one of the candies there’s a small note that says: I’m staying with you! The person (adult or children) who gets that surprise note, gets to keep the Baby Jesus on the basket. It’s usually a sweet figurine, not real sized, but a bit smaller. It’s a tradition I’ve always loved!
Paty, that’s an amazing tradition! I loved it. And thank you so much for reading my books and your kind words!
I love them since they are a great way to experience a white Christmas (mostly) with different traditions (probably, depending on the characters), but always centered on the reason for the season. 🙂
Priscila, centering on the reason for the season is absolutely the right thing to do. Thank you very for commenting!
I love to read Christmas books, I love everything about Christmas. We decorate gingerbread houses from kits as families, it is always alot of fun. Have a great Thanksgiving and stay safe. Thank you for the chance.
Dear Alicia, thank you for good wishes! Hope your Thanksgiving was great, too!
Looks so cozy! Perfect for the season.
Lacey, glad you think so!

I love opening gifts with my children Christmas morning.
I enjoy Christmas books because they put me in the Christmas spirit.
Kim, that’s a wonderful Christmas tradition! Thank you for commenting!
We would open our gifts then eat a pan omelet and cinnamon rolls for brunch. After eating, my husband, my daughters and I would all snuggle together on the couch and watch movies together. It made for a nice, relaxing day!
Mary, such a wonderful, cozy family tradition l! Loved it!
Out family gathers with several families from our church and we go to a local nursing home to sing Christmas carols! I love seeing the looks on the residents faces
Kimberly, that’s so kind and generous of you!
I like to read Christmas stories because it adds an extra good feeling to the happy ending.
Brenda, I love that about Christmas books, too! Thank you very much for commenting!
Reading Christmas stories shows traditions that others celebrate as well as God’s blessings and/or hope for those who may not know him. Reading Christmas stories no matter the time of year can remind me that God is always with us and puts people or circumstances in our lives to bring others to him through the story of Christ’s birth.
Such a beautiful, thoughtful answer! Thank you very much!
Reading and/or watching Christmas shows during the holiday season helps me to get into the true spirit of Christmas time.
I love reading about Christmas partly because it is my favorite holiday, always has been. The giving to put a smile on others faces is so rewarding. Remembering the importance of the season makes me warm inside. I try to remember everyday, but honestly it doesnt happen. Over the years our traditions have changed slightly. For the last five years we have been in the empty nest syndrome. So my husband and I have come up with some traditions for just the two of us. And we have made it very special. When the kids were small, Christmas eve, we would all go to Christmas Eve service. Come home and have dinner of pizza (we didnt eat pizza all the time so it was a treat) and chocolate milk. Then Phil would read the christmas story and we would discuss it as a family. Then we would eat a lamb cake I had made and sing happy birthday to Jesus. Then they could open one gift. Christmas day, we made eggs and a coffee cake (that the kids make for their families to this day) We would go to my parents house and spend time with them. Then mid afternoon we would go to my husbands parents home. Long days.
Lori, you have such wonderful family traditions! And how wonderful that you passed them on to your children!
I enjoyed Dangerous Holidays. I Christmas books all year long. Celebrating Jesus coming to earth for our salvation brings people together.
As a nurse I worked 3-11 pm which left Christmas morning open for my two children when they were young and expecting Santa Claus. As they got older and I worked 7am until 3pm and we would alternate working on the holiday every other year. So, we would have a nice dinner on Christmas eve and open our presents after dinner.
I love reading Christmas stories because they always leave me feeling good.
My favourite Christmas tradition is the candlelight service on ChRittman service.
My favourite Christmas tradition is the candlelight service on Christmas evening.
Natalya Lakhno, you’re the winner in this giveaway! Congratulations!
